Turnstyle Designs launch Design a Door Handle competition

The brief is to design a conceptual door lever that compliments the design ethos and style of Turnstyle Designs catalogue ranges, as seen on their website. The lever can be with rose or back plate, and the design should be able to carry through to cabinet and window handles as well as door pulls.  Designs must be commercially viable and reproducible, using sustainable materials, be durable, functional and ergonomic.

Winners will have their designs worked up in Solid Work Design, 3D printed with the possibility of the Design going into production for 2018. Winners will be announced in October and designs will be shown on Turnstyle Designs website and blog and will also announced to the media. Things to think about: Design so the lever will not look out of place in the Turnstyle stable of designs, but be different enough to stand out. Think about how the design will look in alternative finishes, and combination of finishes if using mixed materials. Ensure all designs come with measurements in Metric. Show suited designs if possible including matching cabinet handles.

Entries must be in by midnight on Monday 9th October 2017. If you're visiting the show, stop by their stand L212 to collect the brief and see their stunning range for yourself.
