Projects & Installations
This year’s Plywood based design, by show designer Sally Hogarth, is comprised of vertical monolithic elements, which will create an inspiring backdrop for over 20 talks, presentations and discussions. The Auditorium is located in 100% Kitchens, Bathrooms & Bedrooms.
This year’s central bar, designed by Sally Hogarth, is a serene and uplifting environment from which to network and explore the show. Inspired by biophillic design, greenery overflows amongst a multilayered landscape of contrasting surfaces from DHH Timber.
Design & Build bar
Ross Bennett has brought his knowledge and experimentation with materials to our Design & Build bar. In this ‘London’ edition of his series, he mixes pitted concrete, oak, and more playful materials such as rubber mac, the waterproof material perfected in London by Charles Macintosh and Thomas Hancock.
Elements by Max Fraser
Designed by Max Fraser, the entrance feature brings together an edited selection of products from the past and present and celebrates various elements of the designs that boast intelligent design solutions, sophisticated tooling and innovative production techniques.
Taking inspiration from mosaics and the show’s theme, the feature in the Kitchens, Bedrooms & Bathrooms section showcases tiles by Kaza Concrete in an interactive setting. Forming the word ‘Elements’, each letter focuses on an element in design; line, shape, texture, form, colour, space, detail and craft.
MeroWings Breakout zone
In collaboration with the show organisers, MeroWings has created an Elements of Nature Breakout zone for visitors to this year’s show. For the first time, guests can enjoy relaxing in this nature inspired installation designed to provide a lounge and communications area with a difference.
