About DAARD Technologies 

1)   Introduce your company:

DAARD Technologies develops and produces active stereo audio loudspeakers with unique appearance, excellent sound and wireless connection to multimedia devices. Our philosophy is to make a loudspeaker that's an attractive object and gives a strong accent to the interior of a room both visually and auditorily. The creative and unique design make our loudspeakers masterpieces.

2) Talk us through your latest product/s:

Wireless speaker Geometrica is a stereo audio system integrated in a single case, which is designed for improved sound considering acoustics physics. High performance audio streaming stereo speaker Geometrica is designed to be visually pleasing 360° around it.

3) What goals would you like to achieve for your company in the future?

Our goals are related to providing series of speaker models for interior. We want to implement high performance in functioning at the same time. A recognisable brand in the fields of interior design and audio technique is one of our goals.

4) Why did you choose to exhibit at 100% Design?

Our target market is interior designers. 100% Design is a well-known exhibition in design the industry where we can show and demonstrate our product to designers.

5) A recent ‘Dezeen’ Article has highlighted the fact that the vast majority of designers are under 40 - Do you feel that design lacks maturity?

Design has been developed for centuries. Influences and inspiration come from the past, forming a spiral evolution in design. We strongly believe that the new designers are more open minded, and have a positive attitude towards changes. 

6) In contemporary society an online presence is key in order to grow your design firm – How do you utilize the internet to increase your customer base?

We are in the beginning phase of our marketing at the moment. We are spreading the information about our company online and are planning to commercialise using all the popular social networks and our web page as well as the media. Meeting the customers face to face is still the best way for us to sell our products.

7) What made you want to become a designer?

The engineering experience of 20 years has led us to believe that a technical product can go hand in hand with pleasant visual interpretation of the product’s “inner self”. A beautiful design should be a logical result of the quality that’s inside the product. 

8) Establishing networks is important for an emerging design firm – How did you go about growing yours?

First is the uniqueness and quality of the product that we believe in 100%. Then, it’s the individual attitude towards every person interested. In order to reach the person, we must present our products in exhibitions as well as on digital media.
