2013 got off to a great start for JEM Textiles when their sub-brand Fabulight's Crystal Frill was chosen by Pantone for the 2013 Trends Radiance Mood Board. The Crystal Frill uses designer Jacinta Edge's original designs cut and etched into acrylic and then side lit with LED's to create a stunning visual effect.
Fabulight was born in September 2012, following a desire of Jacinta’s to combine fabrics and lighting in novel ways. This idea harnesses Jem Textiles’ traditional skills to create original pieces that are shaped around fibre optics and LED lights. It gives fabrics a new dimension and modern technology a completely different look.
