TOBYhouse will be launching a new range of living-room furniture at 100% Design 2013. "Sacrificial Furniture", a range of side-boards and low storage units with paired-down Modernist forms is made using panels with unique and randomly generated relief patterns, produced as a waste bi-product of modern CNC routing machines.
These relief geometric patterns are the random trace of multiple overlaid cutting programs, reminiscient of circuit boards and crop circles. Although industrialised, each piece is unique and made with recycled components.
UK based TOBYhouse, founded by designer Toby Sanders, produce bespoke ranges of interior products manufactured by hand and in UK factories. This is Toby's first time at 100% Design.
