SELECTION PROCESS

100% Design’s vision is to present outstanding emerging and established global designers and the very best contemporary interior design products. 

In line with this, our Non-Executive Chairperson, Julieann Humphryes, has set out a challenging brief whereby applicants are expected to adhere to the minimum criteria and brief as listed below. 

The selection panel assigns the best stand locations to the applicants who interpret the brief successfully and propose the most inspiring and visionary products and stand design concepts.

The 100% Design panel encourages design excellence in all areas and in particular:

1. The launching of new products or a new stand design annually at 100% Design
2. Best in field and design-led products
3. Brand new products and stand design (no repeating of content from previous years)
4. Embracing of the general design of the show and relative position of exhibitors
5. Designs that are original and non-derivative
6. Evidence of social responsibility and sustainability

Categories - Applications can only be taken for products in the following categories:
• Furniture
• Lighting
• Kitchens
• Bathrooms
• Wall & floor coverings
• Interior accessories
• Textiles
• Materials, surface finishes, fixtures and fittings for application in interior design and interior architecture (100% Materials)

 All applicants must meet the following criteria:
• Commercial usefulness of product
• New products, colour ways or editions
• Inspiring stand design and product presentation
• Original and non derivative product design
• Product relevance to our audience

Applicants must either:
• Seek to exhibit prototypes (resolved) and be looking to set up their own manufacturing base or looking for a manufacturer to take on their product
• Or, wish to exhibit 'one-off' or bespoke items or short runs of a product line
• We cannot accept applications from registered companies. 100% Futures is only for emerging designers seeking to raise their profile.
