Elivogar rug factory was established in Reykjavik in 2011 by designer Sigridur Olafsdottir and textile artist Sigrun Lara Shanko. The essence of Elivogar is strongly rooted in Icelandic nature and culture, from designs inspired by local landscapes to the unique making process: each rug is carefully hand-tufted using only the highest quality sustainable Icelandic wool.
