Young & Norgate
Young and Norgate make not manufacture. They may be small, but there’s no shame in that. A Devon-based furniture design company, they offer contemporary furniture that is unique, elegant and made to last.
Each piece of furniture is crafted by hand in their workshop, situated on the site of a converted cider press. A small group of designers and craftsman, they are driven by a passion for timber and good design. Trees reflect something of ourselves in terms of their history, appearance and environment. As does good design. Young & Norgate combine both.
The initial collection is a venture into pared back design, incorporating considered functionality with high quality materials which age well over time.
Young & Norgate also create one off bespoke commissions and at that end of their business, ‘bespoke’ means exactly that.
