When a business/industry plans a marketing strategy to launch a new product – and needs a venue - the traditional options include hiring an ‘on brand building’, or marquee /tent. However one company has been successfully challenging the accepted notions of what has become a rather predictable – none the less competitive – business. Inflate Products was born from a simple inflatable egg cup and has now become the industry leader in both the design and manufacture of innovative and inspiring inflatable – and more importantly portable – architectural structures.
Inflate Products was launched over 15 years ago by Royal College of Art Graduate Nick Crosbie. ‘ Inspired by one simple concept – inflating things - he developed a range of everyday household objects which could be inflated and deflated using the same principle as a traditional inner tube or mattress.
Fifteen years later, Inflate structures now designs and produces a range of around 40 standard designs as well as one off high end bespoke structures. The concept is simple – the structures come in a bag. The award winning Office in Bag is transported and delivered in in a simple 2 ‘ by 2’ bag. One person plugs in an electric fan and the subsequent airflow maintains the wall structure.
The larger structures employ the same technique – on a much larger scale. However, the installation - compared to the more traditional tents or marquees – still promise ease of use, minimal labor and minimal transportation costs.
It’s dynamic, functional – and fast.
