You may think it is impossible to apply plaster to the surface of a loudspeaker. This is very true of the standard loudspeakers that everyone is familiar with. Applying a skim of plaster to a conventional, pistonic, cone shaped speaker will completely stop it working. Amina's technology goes back to first principles - and takes the musical instrument as its basis of operation. The musical instrument is not a piston - it is simply a complex vibrating sound board. When we plaster over this flat panel loudspeaker, the plaster and the Amina panel become the sound board. The result is an all encompassing sound that works superbly, particulary in open plan spaces and wet areas such as SPA's bathrooms, and swimming pool environments.
