astec b.1000
Name
astec b.1000
Description
The roller fitting astec b.1000 not only conceals its technical features, but is not even apparent itself. The fitting invisibly supports glass dividing walls and makes the impossible possible: b.1000 flexibly divides space without influencing the architecture.

The completely frameless glass walls are held in narrow guide tracks that are flush with the floor and ceiling. The U-profile track in the floor keeps the glass in position. Small rollers integrated in the floor track allow smooth gliding of the dividing walls. While the impression is lightweight, the concealed solution is robust. the roller fitting b.1000 bears a weight of up to 300 kg per metre although the guiding groove is only
6 mm deep and approximately 25 mm wide. An edge guard protects and cushions the glass panels.

astec b.400
Name
astec b.400
Description
The exceptional roller fitting for sliding partition elements from floor to ceiling. They may separate rooms or cupboards, shelves, archives etc.: in property or office areas; for the transparent separation of reception and representative areas; for high-quality shop fittings or the presentation of goods; for use in private homes. The door leaves or sliding walls run along guide tracks that are either let into the floor or mounted on the finished floor. Quiet, smooth and easy sliding thanks to high-precision ball bearings. The slim, aesthetic, stainless steel rollers transfer all weight to the floor. Walls and ceiling are relieved of the loads. This allows of the fitting where structural conditions do not permit suspended sliding doors. For instance, in the case of false ceilings or drywall construction. Load capacity: each stainless steel roller carries up to 400 kg. Consequently, this fitting is particularly recommended for large-sized, heavy doors.

astec b.510
Name
astec b.510
Description
Entrance and access areas are often aesthetically accentuated calling cards. To guarantee material and technical compatibility within an architectural and interior design concept, the swinging door fitting astec b.500 was originally developed to correspond with fitting b.600. Simplicity and balanced proportions govern its appearance. Thanks to the small, matt brushed stainless steel hinges, it is unobtrusive in form and yet apparent. Optional positioning of the pivot point toward the centre of the door leaf. The floor and ceiling retainers are fitted with ball bearings that ensure easy operation – also in conjunction with standard floor-mounted door closers. The fitting is suitable for single and double doors in all-glass installations with floor to ceiling doors with or without skylight, for windscreens and doors in partition walls, etc. This fitting is available in rounded form (b.500) and in angular form (b.510).

astec b.700
Name
astec b.700
Description
fitting b.700 is effective in every integrated design concept. However, it especially lends itself to small installations and door leaves up to 100 kg in weight. Characteristic are the vertically mounted flat, stainless steel supporting rail and the slim runners. Particularly suitable for floor to ceiling openings, all-glass installations, showers, sliding shutters, glass cabinets, wardrobes, multimedia cupboards, etc. The stainless steel runner fitted with ball bearings have a polyamide running surface that ensures easy, quiet running. A 50/6 mm supporting rail is used for doors. 30/6 mm gives cabinets, for example, a more elegant appearance. Door leaves out of glass, wood or other materials, onto which the runners are mounted. The screw fastenings, either through the panel or on one side, remain invisible. The supporting rail is affixed to the wall or glass in the case of all-glass installations. The counter runners on the underside of the rail act as retainers to prevent the panel lifting out. Infinitely adjustable flat stopping catches serve as door stoppers.

astec b.800
Name
astec b.800
Description
Sliding doors are suspended by astec’s new fitting b.800 as if by magic. The just 32 millimetre wide stainless steel fitting does not reveal a single screw; a feature that also recommends use of the elegant, award-winning fitting in living areas.
astec’s sliding door fitting b.800 exercises restraint. Just 32 millimetres in width, the fitting demonstrates how light and slender the material stainless steel can be. The visual appearance is unique: b.800 conceals all fastenings from view. Not a single screw is visible. This innovative workmanship makes the sliding door fitting b.800 elegant and refined so it is also suitable for door openings in private living areas.
The accurately worked edges and surfaces encourage the play of light. The precision of the CNC workmanship brings out the aesthetics of the hand-brushed, matt stainless steel. Giving the impression of distinct lightness, b.800 merges with the slender supporting hanger and the minimal support element that runs smoothly along the round supporting rod. The merit of b.800 is further promoted by the diverse options the fitting offers: various materials such as stainless steel, glass or carbon fibre can be combined with it.

astec b.900
Name
astec b.900
Description
fitting b.900 – the intelligent minimization. The sliding door fitting is a solution that does not divulge the relationship of its various elements. How the fitting, door leaf, supporting rail and wall are connected remains incomprehensible at first glance. The stainless steel fitting holds the door leaf, yet has no visible screws. At the meeting point of the fitting and the supporting rail, there appears to be no contact. The transparent rollers of the running gear glide along the rail that itself seems to be detached from the wall. Muted operation correlates with the inconspicuous technical features: b.900 glides smoothly on cushioned precision ball bearings.
astec underlines its product philosophy with b.900: a fitting serves a purpose and does not dominate the architecture. The new sliding door fitting offers design alternatives in the form of the door leaf. b.900 remains unobtrusive so the focus is on the door itself. From transparent to decorative: laminated sheet safety glass with printed foils or inlays as well as blended mineral materials in stone finish or synthetic materials can be used to open up spaces.
