100% Design Late Night: Thursday 22nd September

There's all sorts going on at 100% Design during the special late opening night on Thursday 22nd September when it opens  its doors until 9pm with an evening of music, drinks and networking. Take the opportunity to browse the show floor for a few extra hours, see a special Pecha Kucha on the five senses in the Auditorium with Gravity Road, Beautiful Meme, Phillips’ Damien Whitmore, and Special Projects; plus a discussion on what Brexit means for Architects on The Forum, or join us at the Central Bar for music and drinks.

The Late Night is free to attend for all registered visitors.

There will be two Talks with 100% Design taking place:

Brexit: What will it mean for architecture?

The Forum sponsored by RIBA Appointments
22nd September: 18:00-19:00

Bringing together some of the UK'’s top architectural practices to discuss how leaving the European Union will affect their business and the industry as a whole...

Pecha Kucha: The five senses

The Auditorium sponsored by LG Display
22nd September: 18:00-19:00

We experience the world through our senses –– sight, smell, sound, taste and touch. Five designers, thinkers, movers and shakers pick a sense each...

And of course, plenty of opportunity for Drinks & Networking:

The Central Bar at 100% Design has legendary status within the UK design industry. As the place where you can feel like you’re standing at the centre of the industry the design approach to this space has always been critical part of how each of the shows feels. Designed by Sally Hogarth.

The Materials Cloud bar, designed by Studio Glowacka with specialist fabricators 2MZ, is a new focus for the Design & Build section of the show, located on the upper floor. The inspiration is taken from modular construction toys popular in the 1970s, which interlock to create shapes and structures.
